What's relativity about?

Nov 01 2013

It's Friday bonus time! We have a physics dart about the way that time flows unevenly due to relativity. But there are a lot of other weird consequences to relativity, like objects that are moving fast becoming shorter, or the equivalence of energy and mass. If you've ever wondered what E = mc2 actually means, you can hear that and more with Prof. Shane Bergin on the Newstalk show Futureproof. You can listen to the full show here, with the section on relativity starting 22 minutes in.
